Assistant Store Manager

FIGS is looking for an 100% awesome, capable, experienced retail assistant store manager to assist in running our new store in the Fashion Square Mall. The assistant store manager will be responsible for all aspects of assisting the store manager in retail operations as well as the development and management of all FIGS sales associates. You will be the one to set the tone for the retail team to help bring the FIGS Brand to life. You're accountable for driving our business through excellent management and customer experience. Collaboration with your leadership team is essential in order to create a successful team that meets and exceeds goals.

What you'll do:

  • Ensure the FIGS brand and mission is being represented constantly
  • Participate in visual merchandising and coach team on store standards
  • Support in executing innovative projects on a tight deadline
  • Communicate inventory, product performance needs to the store manager on a weekly basis
  • You are on your sales floor a minimum of 4 days a week leading your team by example, giving feedback and coaching in the moment
  • Educate and train your team to ensure an awesome experience
  • Manage and maintain sales goals for the store
  • Unpack boxes for inventory as required (boxes can weigh 5 - 30 lbs)
  • Accurately track hours and expenses, and you review the P&L/income statements to ensure accuracy
  • Ensure all safety and security procedures are followed and communicate potential issues

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years retail experience store
  • 2+ years managing high volume retail
  • Action oriented, driving for results
  • Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
  • Skilled at mediating and negotiating to resolve conflict
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • All employees are expected to be available to work "Black Friday" (the day after US Thanksgiving) and from the second week of December (the start of the second week in period 11) until the end of the holiday season, to be defined each year based in part on the time period guests are permitted to return holiday merchandise, on an annual basis

FIGS Compensation and Benefits

Pay Range

  • At FIGS, your base salary is one part of your total compensation package. This role's base salary range is between $65,000 and $70,000. Actual base salary is determined based on a number of factors, including but not limited to your relevant skills, qualifications, and years of experience.
