Assistant Store Manager

Gibbs Oil Company is excited to welcome applications for the position of Assistant Store Manager at our dynamic Convenience Store. This role is tailored for individuals eager to develop their management skills in a retail environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting the Store Manager in daily operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Providing exceptional customer service and support to all store patrons.
• Learning and executing inventory management tasks, including ordering, stocking, and organizing products.
• Supporting the training and development of new team members.
• Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the store, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Participating in sales promotions and assisting with marketing initiatives.

Requirements

Requirements Include:

• At least 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Experience with POS registers.
• Experience with cash handling and reconciliation.
• Experience with inventory systems is a plus.
• Experience handling customer issues is a plus.
• Experience supporting team members during shifts is a plus.
• Experience working in a busy high-traffic store is a plus.
• Experience with lottery and fuel-related systems is a plus.
• Availability to work varying shifts, including morning shifts, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for lengthy periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Benefits

Annual salary: 30,000-42,000 USD/year
