Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Virginia Beach, VA, supporting the overall operations of the store. This role includes assisting with daily store opening and closing procedures, supervising team members, and ensuring shelves are stocked, merchandised, and clean. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain high standards of customer service, responds to customer inquiries and concerns, and supports training and coaching of staff. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, assisting with ordering, overseeing cash handling, and supporting retail loss prevention practices. The Assistant Store Manager collaborates with the Store Manager to meet sales targets, uphold company policies, and create a safe, efficient, and inclusive work environment.

• Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to respond effectively to diverse customer needs.

• Store Management experience, including supervising staff, supporting scheduling, and assisting with daily operations in a retail environment.

• Clear and professional Communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and leadership.

• Knowledge of Retail Loss Prevention practices, including monitoring the sales floor and promoting adherence to security procedures.

• Previous experience in grocery, food retail, or comparable retail settings preferred.
• \n
• Basic math and cash-handling skills, with attention to accuracy and detail.
• \n
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move merchandise, and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training or education in business, retail management, or related fields is a plus.

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule: 50 hour set work week
