Description
The Superintendent will act as the on-site leader, reporting closely to the Project Manager, and taking full ownership of project execution from start through completion.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget
- Manage subcontractor performance, coordination, and scheduling
- Maintain high standards of quality control across all phases of construction
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and drive a strong safety culture on-site
- Coordinate inspections and manage relationships with local authorities and stakeholders
- Collaborate with Project Managers and Project Engineers to ensure seamless project delivery
- Serve as the primary point of contact on-site, resolving issues quickly and effectively
Profile
For the Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- 2+ years of experience as a Superintendent within multifamily or commercial construction
- Proven ability to manage projects independently with strong organisational skills
- Experience overseeing projects ranging from mid-scale to large developments
- Proficiency with industry tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Office, and scheduling software
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams and manage subcontractors effectively
- A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
- Commitment to safety, quality, and project excellence
