Assistant Superintendent

You will support construction projects from start to finish, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met. Reporting to the Superintendent, this role involves coordinating daily site activities and managing subcontractors to deliver successful project outcomes.

Description

• Assist the Superintendent in managing on-site construction activities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
• Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure quality control by conducting regular inspections of ongoing work.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily logs and progress reports.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members.
• Identify and resolve any on-site issues to minimize project delays.
• Support in maintaining project schedules and budgets.

Profile

• Assistant Superintendent, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or similar experience
• Experience across a mixture of commercial project types preferred
• Strong understanding of construction plans, schedules, and sequencing
• Ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors and project teams
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Desire to develop into a larger field leadership role
