Assistant Superintendent

Assist the Superintendent with day-to-day field operations on a large commercial construction project. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site activities to help maintain project schedule and productivity. Monitor jobsite safety and support compliance with company and project safety standards. Track project progress and communicate updates to project leadership. Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and field teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow. Support quality control efforts to ensure work is completed according to project specifications. Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning and coordination activities. Help maintain project documentation, reports, and field records. Work closely with a large project team in a fast-paced construction environment.

The successful applicant will have 1 to 3 years of experience as an Assistant Superintendent or in a closely related field role. A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. The candidate should be able to work effectively within large project teams and possess strong communication, organization, and coordination skills. An interest in building a long-term career in commercial construction is essential.

Preferred experience includes previous experience on higher education construction projects, multifamily construction experience, experience as a Field Engineer with responsibilities aligned to field operations and coordination, and exposure to large-scale commercial construction projects.
