Description
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will report to the Lead Superintendent and play a key role in supporting the successful day-to-day delivery of construction projects.
- Assist in managing daily site operations and subcontractor coordination
- Ensure work is completed to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Support safety compliance and enforce site safety protocols
- Track project progress and report updates to senior leadership
- Help coordinate inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities
- Maintain clear communication between project teams and stakeholders
- Contribute to problem-solving and proactive issue resolution on-site
Profile
For the Assistant Superintendent, we are seeking:
- 1-4 years of construction experience, ideally within multifamily or mixed-use
- Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations
- Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications
- Experience working with general contractors
- Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn
