Assistant Superintendent – Commercial Construction<\/span>

We are seeking an Assistant Superintendent to join a growing commercial construction team supporting interior renovation and fit -out projects in Houston, TX. Projects include restaurant, retail, and concession build -outs within an active airport environment.<\/span>
<\/p>

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has gained solid field experience and is looking to continue learning and growing with a reputable team.<\/span>

Responsibilities<\/span>
<\/h2>

• Assist the Superintendent with day -to -day field operations<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate subcontractors, deliveries, and project activities onsite<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Help maintain project schedules and ensure work is completed on time<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Monitor jobsite safety and maintain a clean, organized work environment<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Participate in daily site walks and quality control inspections<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Track progress and communicate updates to project leadership<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Help resolve field issues and support project coordination efforts<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards<\/span>
  <\/li>
• Work closely with airport personnel, vendors, and trade partners in active construction environments<\/span>

  Qualifications<\/span>
  <\/h2>

  • 5 years of commercial construction experience<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience with interior construction, tenant improvements, restaurant, retail, or hospitality projects preferred<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Experience working for a commercial general contractor strongly preferred
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong communication and organizational skills<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Ability to work in a fast -paced environment and manage multiple activities simultaneously<\/span>
    <\/li>
  • Motivated and eager to grow <\/span>
    <\/li>
  • OSHA certification is a plus<\/span>
