Job Summary
Under the direction of the Superintendent and as a member of the Superintendent's Cabinet, plan, coordinate and administer the District's personnel system including classified and certificated employees and programs; assure compliance with applicable District rules and policies, and state and federal laws, codes and regulations; assist the Superintendent in the administration of policies and negotiation of contracts related to certificated and classified personnel; serve as Pupil Attendance Officer to act upon inter- and intra- District attendance agreements; train, supervise and evaluate performance of assigned staff.

SALARY -Salary credit will be given to Assistant Superintendents new to the District for previous experience in an administrative position outside of the District up to a maximum of two years for placement on the salary schedule. Upon recommendation of the Superintendent and with approval of the Board of Trustees, additional credit for previous administrative may be given; -$500.00 annual stipend for doctoral degree; -Additional salary increases are earned for longevity with MSD; -Certificated management in this position are paid monthly on a 12-month pay schedule (July-June); -CBO-CONT 2025/26 Salary Schedule: https://www.magnoliasd.org/apps/pages/hr-salary-schedules BENEFITS -Health benefits available to employees and their families include medical, dental, and vision; -Benefits Information: https://www.magnoliasd.org/apps/pages/health-benefits WORK YEAR -Start date is July 1, 2026.
