Description

  • Assist in managing daily on-site construction activities and ensuring project timelines are met.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor project progress and address any delays or issues promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes at the construction site.
  • Support the Superintendent in preparing schedules, budgets, and reports.
  • Oversee material deliveries and inventory management on-site.
  • Ensure quality control by conducting inspections and addressing deficiencies.
  • Facilitate clear communication between all stakeholders involved in the project.

Profile

A successful Assistant Superintendent should have:

  • 2-5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in custom homes, luxury residential, or high-end interior projects
  • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and residential building methods
  • Exposure to high-end finishes such as stone, tile, millwork, and specialty installations
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and quality
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced, design-driven environment
  • OSHA certification or willingness to obtain
