Assistant Superintendent (MTA) - Heavy CivilOpportunity to lead $100M+ MTA project with a general contractor. Dynamic team, generous compensation/benefits.About Our ClientOur client is a leading general contractor with a reputation for high quality, and robust MTA construction projects. Their projects range in the $50M - $100M+ range, and are generally multi-year projects. The Assistant Superintendent (MTA) - Heavy Civil is open due to growth, and will have a long runway to being promoted to Superintendent. This project will be in New York, New York - but the general contractor completes projects in the New York, New York metropolitan area.Job DescriptionAssist in planning, scheduling, and managing daily construction activities on-site.Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.Collaborate with project managers to monitor project progress and address any issues.Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily logs and reports.Ensure materials and equipment are available and on-site as needed.Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to plans.Assist in resolving any on-site challenges promptly and effectively.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
