Assistant Super - Multifamily Construction
Family owned firm, in business for decades, is looking for an Assistant Super to join their team! First job - wood frame multifamily project in Everett, MA. They have grown substantially over the past 20 years into one of New England's premier GCs! Build high-profile projects up to $120M across various sectors: Multifamily, Senior living, Mixed-use, Hotels, Academic - special projects division for life science & TI work. Large enough to have a significant & stable pipeline of projects, small enough where you are not just a number.
Job Description
- Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones are met.
- Assist in managing subcontractors and vendors to maintain schedules and quality standards.
- Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Support the Project Superintendent in resolving construction-related challenges.
- Oversee material deliveries and inventory management on-site.
- Communicate regularly with the project team to provide updates on progress and any issues.
- Ensure project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
- Perform inspections to confirm the quality of work meets project specifications.

The Successful Applicant
- Experience with construction projects, specifically multifamily residential buildings.
- Familiarity with construction management software and tools.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Ability to solve problems and adapt to changing circumstances on-site.
