Position Summary The Assistant Superintendent for Finance serves as the District''s chief executive responsible for financial leadership, operational strategy, organizational systems, and continuous improvement. Working closely with the Superintendent, School Committee, municipal leadership, and district administrators, this executive will oversee all financial operations while leading districtwide initiatives that improve organizational effectiveness. Massachusetts recognizes Assistant Superintendents for Finance as strategic district leaders whose responsibilities extend beyond finance to include policy development, long-range planning, and executive leadership.
