Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with daily onsite construction operations.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
• Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress against key milestones.
• Conduct daily site walks to ensure quality standards are met.
• Support the implementation and enforcement of safety programs and OSHA requirements.
• Track material deliveries and coordinate site logistics.
• Maintain jobsite documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Participate in subcontractor meetings and project coordination discussions.
• Assist with punch list completion and project closeout activities.
• Identify potential issues and collaborate with project teams to develop solutions.
• Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and building codes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent should have:

• 2+ years of experience in construction, field engineering, or construction management.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and jobsite operations.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction technology is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of jobsite safety practices and OSHA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
