Assistant Project Manager / Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities
- Support the management of commercial renovation and tenant fit-out projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Coordinate daily field activities, subcontractors, vendors, and site logistics.
- Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved.
- Monitor project progress and communicate updates to Project Managers, Superintendents, clients, and stakeholders.
- Conduct site walks and inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with plans and specifications.
- Help manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, punch lists, and project documentation.
- Enforce OSHA and company safety standards on job sites.
- Track material deliveries, site progress, and subcontractor performance.
- Identify and help resolve field issues, schedule impacts, and coordination challenges.
- Maintain daily reports and project records.
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and project closeout activities.
Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in commercial construction, construction management, or field supervision.
- Experience with renovation, tenant fit-out, interior construction, or commercial projects.
- Understanding of construction scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and construction best practices.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software is a plus.
- Experience with wood-frame or multifamily construction is beneficial but not required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
