Job Details

We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Permanent Assistant Superintendent to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a leading construction company renowned for delivering high-end luxury residential projects. The successful candidate will be working closely with the Superintendent and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of construction projects. This role requires a hands-on individual with exceptional knowledge of luxury finishes, blueprint reading, and a strong ability to interact with clients. Responsibilities:
The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for a wide range of crucial tasks. These include but are not limited to:

1. Assisting the Superintendent in planning, coordinating, and supervising on-site functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
2. Ensuring all construction activities align with the project schedule and overseeing the delivery of quality work that meets the project specifications.
3. Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and other technical construction documents.
4. Managing the selection, usage, and installation of high-end luxury finishes.
5. Interacting with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure clear communication, resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships.
6. Ensuring all safety protocols are adhered to, promoting a safe and secure job site at all times.
7. Regularly inspecting work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and ensure specifications are being met.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the role of Assistant Superintendent will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on luxury residential projects.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and other construction documents.
3. Extensive knowledge and experience with luxury finishes.
4. Exceptional client-facing skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build strong relationships.
5. Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct and manage field personnel.
6. Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, with a keen eye for detail.
7. Solid understanding of construction procedures, material properties, and use in construction.
8. Safety-conscious and familiar with construction safety practices and procedures.
9. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
