Assistant Teacher / Floater – Early Childhood Classrooms
Location: The Learning Experience – Beltline
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday


The Learning Experience – Beltline is seeking a dependable Assistant Teacher / Floater to support multiple classrooms serving infants through preschool-aged children. This role helps maintain a safe, engaging learning environment while providing flexible classroom coverage throughout the day.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with a variety of age groups and supporting teachers across different classroom settings.


Key Responsibilities

•  Provide classroom support across infant, toddler, and preschool programs 
•  Assist teachers with daily routines including meals, activities, and transitions 
•  Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment 
•  Support supervision during playground time and group activities 
•  Prepare materials for classroom lessons and learning centers 
•  Step into classrooms as needed to maintain ratios and coverage 
•  Communicate professionally with families and team members 
•  Follow all state licensing and health and safety requirements 

Qualifications

•  High school diploma or GED required 
•  Prior childcare or preschool experience preferred 
•  Comfortable supporting multiple classrooms and age groups 
•  Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented 
•  Ability to meet state childcare licensing requirements
