JOB TITLE: Assistant Teacher

LOCATION: St. Mary's Campus - 75 Genesee St

DEPARTMENT: Healthy Moms

HOURS WEEK: Part-Time 30 hours/week

SCHEDULE: M-F 8:45am-3:15pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guidance & Relationship Building. Develop and maintain a positive relationship with all of the children and their families; effectively guide the children's behavior in an age appropriate manner; meet the physical, social, cognitive, emotional and cultural needs of individual children
  • Development. Assists the teacher in providing a developmentally appropriate program for all of the children while fostering an environment that supports their growth
  • Safety & Oversight. Ensure the safety of the children and promote healthy habits; work with colleagues and community representatives to support children and families

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent OR

One (1) year of experience working with children less than 13 years

Required Licensure/Certification Skills:

None
