Harvis, Inc. has partnered with an Early Learning Center located in NE Pennsylvania to help fill the role of an Assistant Teacher.

Key Responsibilities
* Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities and lesson plans.
* Supervise children during play, meals, rest time, and outdoor activities.
* Support children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
* Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment.
* Prepare educational materials and set up learning activities.
* Encourage positive behavior and model appropriate interactions.
* Assist with daily routines, including toileting, diapering, and handwashing as needed.
* Communicate effectively with coworkers and parents.
* Follow all licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and the Center’s policies.

What We Are Looking For
* High school diploma or GED required.
* Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or a minimum of 12 ECE credits preferred.
* Early Childhood Education experience required.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patient, dependable, and caring attitude.
* CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
* Successful completion of background checks and required clearances.
