PT. Benefits. $16.00 - $17.00/Hour.
Children's Place Day Care Center is looking for an infant room Assistant Teacher. Assistant teacher: In this position you will be working with all classrooms and ages of children from 6- weeks to 18 months. As an assistant teacher you will:
1. Help the teacher with projects.
2. Help with diapering and potty-training.
3. Communicate with parents.
4. Help with cleaning the classroom, hallways, and bathrooms as needed.
5. Assume responsibilities of lead teacher when necessary.
6. Help shut down the classroom by cleaning toys, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
This is a part time position with 20-30 hours per week. You may be asked to come in early for additional hours. Daycare workers are required to get 30 hours of training every two years, must have fingerprints, a physical and TB test, and a back ground check.
A Children's Place is looking for someone who is hard working, enjoys working with people and children, has an energetic and happy personality, can work well with others, and has experience with working with infants.
