Assistant Teacher

Part-Time Infant Room Teaching Assistant

We are looking for 2,  part-time Teaching Assistants to join our Infant and Toddler team. The children range in age from 6 weeks to 18 months old. Hours currently needed are Monday through Friday from 3 to 5:30, with the opportunity to gain more hours subbing for teacher absences.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of experience working with infants or be currently pursuing coursework in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education.

The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the Head Teacher to:

• Assist with implementing and teaching lesson plans
• Participate in and help facilitate age-appropriate art and learning activities
• Assist with feedings, diapering, and other daily routines
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for the children
• Support the Head Teacher with the overall care and development of the infants

We are looking for someone who is fun, creative, energetic, nurturing, and genuinely enjoys working with young children. The ideal candidate should be reliable, punctual, responsible, and dedicated to providing high-quality care and educational experiences.

Requirements:

• Previous infant/childcare experience preferred (either in daycare or private childcare)
• Currently pursuing an Early Childhood or Elementary Education degree/coursework is a plus
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Must be dependable, punctual, and nurturing
• Infant/Child CPR & First Aid certification is a plus
