Assistant teacher

We are seeking a Toddler Teacher to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities

Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Support children's social, emotional, and cognitive development

Maintain daily routines (circle time, learning centers, meals, naps)

Observe and document student progress and milestones

Communicate regularly with parents/guardians

Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and organization

Collaborate with staff and follow licensing regulations

Qualifications

Previous experience working with preschool-aged children required

Early Childhood Education (ECE) coursework or degree preferred

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Strong understanding of child development principles

Ability to pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
