About the Role:
Lollipop Land in Rigby, ID is looking for a passionate and nurturing Assistant Teacher to join our team! Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate lessons and activities
• Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured classroom environment
• Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development in young learners
• Assist with daily routines including meals, nap time, and transitions
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding child progress
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space
• Observe and document children's behavior and developmental milestones

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; early childhood education coursework preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or classroom setting
• Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for children
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass a background check
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, punctual, and professional
