Objective:
An Assistant Team Leader is the third level of leadership at Chick-fil-A Langhorne. An Assistant Team Leader candidate is identified by performing with excellence and consistency, as well as exhibiting “soft” leadership skills. The Assistant Leader position is heavily task oriented (e.g. training, opening & closing assigned stations, positioning team members, executing breaks as per Team Leaders shift plan), but they still function operationally as a leader in a team member position. They are also expected to implement/enforce the Team Leaders game plan & are capable of proficiently running the shift for small amounts of time. They are dedicated to training & developing others. They, also, must have a strong awareness of Chick-fil-A systems, policies and procedures.

Summary of Expectations:
- Train new team members
- Open or close assigned stations as required
- Assist team members during break times
- Execute and support the Team Leader’s shift plan
- Serve as a role model for the team, aligning with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values
- Prioritize food safety and ensure adherence to established procedures
- Provide coaching and constructive feedback to team members based on Pathway training modules
- Address and resolve guest complaints
- Act as a responsible steward of resources and equipment
- Contribute to achieving team business goals set by the Owner/Operator
- Attend regular Assistant Leader meetings
- Conduct team member performance evaluations every six months
- Oversee cash management tasks and responsibilities
- Other duties as assigned
