Fair-Rite Products is looking for a hands-on Assistant Team Leader to help lead our Finishing Department. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, working with precision tools, and helping others succeed, we want to hear from you.

 

This is more than just a production position. You'll be a key member of our leadership team, supporting daily operations in Grinding, Burnishing, and Lapping while helping drive quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

 

 

Days and Hours:

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Responsibilities:

What You'll Do:

  • Lead by example on the production floor.
  • Support and motivate team members to achieve daily production goals.
  • Train employees on equipment, processes, and quality standards.
  • Assist with scheduling work and establishing department priorities.
  • Troubleshoot production challenges and help implement solutions.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure customer specifications are met.
  • Support equipment readiness and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with performance evaluations and employee development.
  • Maintain production records and analyze performance data.
  • Foster a safe, positive, and team-oriented work environment.
Qualifications:

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience

Leadership, supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience in a manufacturing environment

Experience with precision manufacturing processes such as:

  • Grinding
  • Lapping
  • Burnishing
  • Machining
  • Tooling setup
  • Quality inspection

Experience using precision measuring equipment, including:

  • Micrometers
  • Calipers
  • Gauges
  • Comparators
  • Other precision inspection tools

Ability to read and interpret:

  • Blueprints
  • Engineering drawings
  • Specifications
  • Quality standards
