Responsibilities:

The Warehouse Team Leader is Responsible for assisting the Senior Supervisor in directing and supervising the warehouse operations. Coordinate and lead warehouse activities daily. Under the direction of Warehouse operation management, he/she is responsible for the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product within the Company’s service and cost objectives. Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly. Lead the Warehouse staff by instructing and assisting.

  • Coordinate and support warehouse activities on a daily basis under the direction of Warehouse operation management
  • Responsible for the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of product within the Company’s standard operating procedures
  • Monitor inbound and outbound activities
  • Support staff as needed in performing job functions such as storing, picking, packing, shipping and receiving
  • Maintain product location system and ensure optimal utilization of space through warehouse consolidation
  • Assist in inventory control
  • Promote the efficient and safe operation of product handling equipment
  • Participate in implementing work schedules and ensuring that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly
  • Complete all necessary reports in a timely and accurate manner
  • With the guidance of the Team Leader and/or Supervisor, conduct general staff training
  • Ensure staff is compliant with company policies
  • Handle other job assignments as determined by the direct Team Lead and/or Supervisor

Qualifications:
  • To perform this job successfully, must have 2-4 years in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond questions from groups of managers, and clients.
  • Must have previous experience with positions that oversee a high level of detail and quality.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, and accountability.
  • Experience with WMS, Excel, Word, PP

Will work with all levels in the organization.
