Job Duties and Responsibilities:
General Duties: Has knowledge of and background in the assigned sport. Strong communication and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with coworkers, supervisor, parents, community members, and students. Responsible for all matters pertaining to the organization and administration of coaching an athletic team. Understanding of and agreement with the Bloomington Public School Districts Student Activity and Athletic Code and the Coaches/Advisors Handbook.
Specific Duties: • Assist the head coach for the boys and girls track and field team • Attend all schedule meets • Experience coaching sprints • Knowledgeable in block training and relay hand-offs
