Continued employment is subject to a favorable background investigation. Assistants United States Attorneys must reside in the district or within 25 miles of the office.Selective ServiceMale applicants born after December 31, 1959 must be registered with the Selective Service System or be exempt.Salary and BenefitsPay is determined based on years of professional experience.
