OverviewThe United States Attorney's Office for the District of Minnesota seeks a highly motivated litigator to work as an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) in the Civil Fraud section of the Civil Division.LocationMinneapolis, Minnesota.Role ResponsibilitiesThis position requires civil litigation experience, including taking depositions, drafting and arguing complex motions, and appearing in court. Trial experience is helpful but not required. The AUSA will handle large, complex investigations, working with lawyers, agents, and witnesses, writing subpoenas, conducting complex investigative work, ingesting and reviewing large volumes of data, analyzing case theories, negotiating among numerous parties, and performing traditional litigation in court.Key AttributesStrong work ethic with the drive to produce excellent work.Motivation to move multiple large matters forward simultaneously.Problem‑solving ability.Ability to work independently with training.High degree of integrity, discretion, and humility.Required QualificationsJ.D.
