Assistant Varsity Wrestling Coach

This position is responsible for assisting the Varsity Wrestling Head Coach in the development and implementation of the teams overall strategy and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and coordinating team practices and competitions • Develop and implement individualized training plans for wrestlers • Provide guidance and support to wrestlers on and off the mat • Assist with team travel and logistics • Communicate with parents and guardians regarding team and wrestler progress

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience coaching wrestling at the high school or collegiate level • Strong knowledge of wrestling techniques and strategies • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to work effectively with athletes, parents, and other coaches • Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with athletes of varying skill levels and ages • Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles and practices • Certification in first aid and CPR • Familiarity with wrestling rules and regulations
