Highly visible Assistant Vice President opportunity with leading global (re)insurer to drive enterprise reserving oversight, balance sheet governance, and Corporate Actuarial initiatives across Middle Market divisions. Hands-on leader provides independent reserve assessment, supports statutory reporting and NAIC Statement of Actuarial Opinion processes, and plays a pivotal role in M&A integration from a reserving and loss analytics perspective. Partnering closely with underwriting, finance, executive leadership, auditors, and regulators, the AVP delivers proactive insight, enhances reserve governance, and advances a best-in-class Reserving & Loss Analytics function with organization-wide impact. Seeking an FCAS (strong ACAS considered) with 10+ years' experience, deep reserving expertise, corporate actuarial exposure, and demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders in complex environments.
