Full Time, 1st Shift, 8am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday

This position will support and coordinate all volunteer programs, assisting Manager with recruitment, training, scheduling and all regulatory functions to ensure a positive volunteer and customer service experience.

Responsibilities


Assist in all volunteer on-boarding responsibilities at SRH: interviewing, screening, placement, training, evaluation, and regulatory compliance.

Assist in all volunteer onboarding placements, as well as student programs coordinated with area high schools and colleges.

Assist in the daily operations of the gift shop which includes staffing, scheduling inventory and maintenance of time keeping system.

Assist the Manager in the Lights for Love annual fundraiser; October through December each year.

Assist with the software systems to track and monitor all volunteer related activities, UKG to track and monitor all volunteer related activities (demographics, hours, schedules, placements, etc.) 

Assist the manager with all aspects of volunteer recognition and appreciation efforts; provides on-going support, guidance and single point of contact for communications.

Partners with hospital leaders to identify unique volunteer opportunities to enhance the patient/family experience.

Assist in the daily functions of the Gift Shop and maintain level of best practices

Assist manager in all performance expectations and evaluations of the gift shop staff

Performs other duties as assigned by Manager, VP of HR or the SRH Auxiliary Board members.

Qualifications

Education:  Associate degree required, bachelor’s degree in related preferred but not limited to business, healthcare, human services, arts/humanities, retail; or applicable experience in hospital volunteer programs

Experience: 3-5 years of applicable management experience, preferably in healthcare or human resources/services field. All applicants must possess high level communication skills (written and spoken), possess ability to manage multiple projects/programs and vast numbers of volunteers/staff within a diverse population.

Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
