What will you be doing?
Barclays Capital Inc. seeks Assistant VP - Global Markets in New York, NY (multiple positions available):
Evaluate financial risks for customer/clients-related trades and flows within the LATAM FX macro flow business.
Provide solutions to clients through the market making process on LATAM FX providing liquidity on an ongoing basis.
Contribute to the performance and profit-generation for the LATAM FX business through effective trading decisions.
Provide clients and sales team with market insight related to flows, market color, trading related commentaries and trade ideas on an ongoing basis.
Grow the LATAM FX trading and market making franchise working alongside the sales team to improve the Barclays Trading team as a visible leader in the LATAM FX franchise.
Drive pricing/quote risk valuation for the LATAM FX Macro transactions as well as hedging instruments.
Provide ongoing effective delivery of trading desk positions, risk and profit/loss.
Communicate regularly with top management to ensure relevant information is communicated to the trading team.
Salary / Rate Minimum/yr: $188,178 per year
Salary / Rate Maximum/yr: $250,000 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above include only base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any other type of compensation or benefits that may be available.
