Position Summary:
Beloit College seeks a motivated and dedicated Assistant Women's Basketball Coach to support all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women's basketball program. This position works closely with the Head Coach to develop student-athletes both on and off the court, fostering excellence in athletics, academics, and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and conducting practices, training sessions, and game preparation
- Provide individual and team skill development instruction
- Support recruiting efforts, including identifying, evaluating, and communicating with prospective student-athletes
- Analyze game film and assist with scouting reports
- Promote a positive team culture aligned with Beloit College values
- Ensure compliance with NCAA Division III, conference, and institutional rules and regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous coaching or playing experience at the collegiate or high school level
- Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals and strategy
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Commitment to the academic success and personal development of student-athletes
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
- Valid driver's license
