Assistant Zoo Botanical Garden Curator (Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces)

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree. A minimum of two years of experience in the care and maintenance of a botanical garden to include supervisory experience is required. Must possess a valid Florida driver s license. Must obtain an International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) Certified Arborist Certification within the probationary period. Must obtain a State of Florida Pesticide Applicator license within the probationary period. Additional experience in the care and maintenance of a botanical garden to include supervisory experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays on a varying schedule.
