Assisted Living Director

Join the team at Balfour at Louisville as the Assisted LivingDirector! The Assisted Living Director manages and directs a high-quality Assisted Living Program providing superior care services delivered with compassion. As a motivational leader this individual supervises and coordinates resident assessments, medications, safety procedures, and department budgets. 

Availability: Monday-Friday 

Pay: $105,000-$115,000/yr

What will I do every day?

• Complete accurate and regular resident assessments
• Determine the appropriate level of care
• Maintain all resident information, files, and reports
• Supervise and administer all resident medications
• Maintain emergency plans and meet all safety requirements
• Coordinate care provided by third parties, maintaining positive relationships with a variety of third-party care providers
• Manage Assisted Living budget and expenses
• Forecast and schedule necessary levels of staffing 
• Conduct departmental planning and forecasting
• Hire and train care team associates 
• Manage and improve resident and family satisfaction

What will I need to be successful in this role?

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Director-level care leadership role
• BS degree in human services, psychology, nursing, or related fields
• Experience in working with seniors
• Ability to work weekends and/or nights as needed

Special Requirements/Certifications:

• Active LPN license required
• CPR Certified
• First Aid Certified
• Universal Precautions trained
