The Iowa Department for the Blind (IDB) is seeking applicants for a Program Data Reporting and Systems Accessibility Specialist who will ensure that the Department's Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Independent Living (IL) case management, reporting, and data systems are fully accessible to blind and low vision staff. This position plays a critical role in supporting accurate federal and state reporting, maintaining data integrity, and ensuring that all essential systems function effectively with screen readers, magnification tools, refreshable Braille displays, and other assistive technology.

6 months experience, 12 semester hours, or a combination of both using Microsoft SQL toolset within no more than 2 major versions of the current release.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from an accredited U.S. college or university with major course work in technical writing, education, computer science, or related fields and experience equal to three years of full-time work in technology, education, computer science, engineering or a closely related field.

OR
an equivalent combination of education and experience substituting the equivalent of one year of full-time work experience, outlined above, for each year of the required education to a maximum substitution of three years.
