Organization Information Located in the heart of central Kentucky, the Jessamine County School District currently serves more than 8000 students in preschool through 12th grade. With an average increase in enrollment of 100 students per year, Jessamine is one of the fastest growing school systems in the state. Our mission is to motivate and challenge every child, every day, to be a caring, responsible citizen and a high-level thinker, performer, communicator, and learner for life. In order to accomplish this mission, we have assembled a team of high-quality educators and an exceptional support staff who meet student needs today with a vision for tomorrow. Student success is our goal. Each and every district decision reflects a commitment to this goal and a focus on the well-being of every child, every day.
