Minimum Requirements
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting ($65)
- Ability to obtain a negative TB test ($60)
- Ability to obtain CPR card within 30 days and complete all state mandated coursed within 30 days
- High School Diploma at minimum, C.D.A., Associates, or Bachelor's preferred
- Reliable Transportation (please see location)
- Able to work any shift between 7:00 am- 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, early literacy, etc. ) to build young children's development.
- Help toddlers to improve their social competencies and build self-esteem and self help skills
- Encourage children to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children's background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and safe classroom environment
Skills
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and early childhood educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
