Shift: 2nd Shift | Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour
Contract: 6 months Contract position with potential for extension or conversion based on performance and business needs

Position Summary

We are seeking an entry-level Associate Production Technician to support filling, packaging, and material handling operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for candidates with manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience, although entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. The role involves assembling packaging materials, inspecting products, staging production lines, and supporting filling operations while maintaining compliance with GMP, ISO, and quality standards.

Candidates must be comfortable working in an aseptic manufacturing environment while wearing the required personal protective equipment (PPE), including lab coats, masks, coveralls, eye protection, and safety footwear.

Key Responsibilities

Filling & Packaging Operations

• Assemble totes, cartons, platforms, and packaging/filling components.
• Assist with setting up packaging and filling lines under the direction of production supervisors.
• Stage materials and components for daily production activities.
• Place filled vials, inserts, barcode clips, and other components into totes or kits according to SOPs and Production Records.
• Count and reconcile labels, inserts, intermediates, and packaging components at the completion of each fill/pack operation.

Quality Inspection

• Perform visual inspections of components and finished products for defects.
• Ensure products meet quality standards and production specifications.
• Follow GMP, QSR, ISO, and company quality requirements throughout all production activities.

Material Handling

• Palletize finished products for shipment and storage.
• Transport production materials between filling and packaging lines and warehouse storage areas.
• Support movement of materials to refrigerated and general warehouse locations.

Compliance & Safety

• Work in an aseptic manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE:
  • Lab coat
  • Gowning coveralls
  • Face mask
  • Eye protection
  • Safety footwear
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality System Regulations (QSR), and ISO requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

Required

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 0–2 years of experience in:
  • Manufacturing
  • Production
  • Filling
  • Packaging
  • Labeling
  • Warehouse operations
  • Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work in an aseptic manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
