The Assoc Director Business Intelligence - US Commercial Sales & Marketing will drive the technical strategy architecture and implementation of commercial business intelligence including data analytics and AI systems for all brands across US Commercial Sales & Marketing. This highly technical leadership role is responsible for delivering scalable secure and integrated technology solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capabilities and a thorough understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations. Key responsibilities • Develop the business intelligence technical roadmap and system architecture for US Sales & Marketing operational platforms leveraging CRM Veeva BI Power BI data integration pipelines Databricks and master data management Profisee. • Lead end-to-end software development lifecycle requirements gathering UIUX design architecture review development oversight QAtesting deployment and maintenance. • Design and oversee scalable system integrations including APIs data pipelines and ETL processes across internal systems and third-party data sources e.g. IQVIA claims SP data. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather functional requirements and translate them into technical specifications and prioritized development plans. • Guide solution design in partnership with system architects and data engineers to ensure performance scalability and compliance especially as we pivot to include more AI functionality in our solutions. • Manage a team of developers business analysts and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of technology initiatives. • Ensure ongoing data integrity availability and compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory standards e.g. HIPAA 21 CFR Part 11. • Proactively monitor production systems address issues and implement system optimizations. • Lead change management end-user training and system adoption strategies across the organization. Qualifications Minimal acceptable level of education work experience and competency • Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Engineering or related field Masters preferred. • 8 years of progressive technical experience in Commercial IT Sales Operations or enterprise application development with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role. • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional technical teams and managing vendorpartner relationships leveraging a collaborative and proactive style to align business objectives with technology solution. • Proven experience architecting and managing pharmaceutical commercial systems including o CRM platforms Veeva CRM preferred o BI tools Power BI Tableau Qlik o ETL and data integration tools e.g. Informatica Azure Data Factory Talend o In-depth knowledge of data warehousing and modeling e.g. Snowflake Redshift SQL Server • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical business processes including o Patient support life cycle including copay and other affordability programs prior authorization support and patient assistance programs o Experience with Payer and Pharmacy contracting including rebate analysis and fraud investigations • Experience working with diverse pharmaceutical data sources o Claims data FIA Copay Specialty Pharmacy and digitalmulti-channel engagement data Copay and affordability programs • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance requirements HIPAA 21 CFR Part 11 • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms e.g. AWS Azure and DevOps practices is a plus • Familiarity with Agile Scrum or hybrid project management methodologies • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
