Responsibilities

• Perform technical tasks requiring intermediate knowledge of engineering principles and practices in support of creating or modifying deliverables.
• Develop plan & profile deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.
• Support the development of project deliverables based on a variety of design inputs.
• Create, update, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
• Assist in coordinating deliverables with other project groups to minimize errors and interferences.
• Support engineering teams under general supervision and perform basic computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
• Apply knowledge of applicable standards, systems, document control practices, departmental guides, and BV policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail while supporting continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Proactively seek out, share, and apply knowledge of new technologies and evolving processes.

Requirements

• Basic Civil 3D experience with knowledge of alignments, plan/profile, and sections.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Bentley MicroStation.
• Diploma or Certificate required; Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 2 years related work experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ability to work onsite in Leawood, KS, 5 days/week.
