Job Summary

Provides spiritual and emotional support to patients, families, and staff. Assesses spiritual needs, provides or arranges religious services, supports families during difficult situations, and works with healthcare teams. Maintains confidentiality, documents visits, and completes reports related to pastoral care.

Skills / Knowledge / Abilities

Knowledge of pastoral care and spiritual support; strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills; ability to support patients, families, and staff during difficult situations; ability to work effectively with diverse individuals and interdisciplinary teams; and ability to maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation.

Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? Yes Preferred Education/Experience

Minimum of Bachelor's degree and one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE).
