Assoc Procurement & Contract Spclst:

0-2 years of related experience

Procurement & Contract Specialist:

3-5 years of related experience

Sr. Procurement & Contract Specialist:

5 + years related experience.

  • Conducts major spend analysis by supplier, commodity, or service.

  • Identifies potential suppliers.

  • Develops and issues requests for proposal with complex pricing tables.

  • Analyzes supplier proposals, performs legal and insurance reviews, and performs net present value analysis.

  • Negotiates prices, delivery, insurance, performance penalties, issue resolution, escalation terms and conditions, and intellectual property agreements.

  • Identifies and obtains cost improvements for purchased materials and services from supplier, through negotiation and continuous management.

  • Develops and administers measurement tools on contract basis.

  • Performs trend analysis, and identifies and implements process improvements.

  • Analyzes all cost and process aspects of assigned spend.

  • May lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives, including the development and implementation of complex sourcing strategies.

  • Conducts procurement activities for fleet vehicles, including supplier identification, specification development, sourcing, negotiation, and purchase coordination.

  • Coordinates fleet vehicle title and registration processes and ensures compliance with applicable requirements.

  • Oversees disposal of fleet vehicles, including resale, transfer, trade-in, auction, or decommissioning, and maintains related records and documentation.
