Introduction

The contractor will support Analytical Development Chemistry activities for AAV programs. The primary focus of this role is hands-on laboratory execution of liquid chromatography (LC), capillary electrophoresis (CE), and Biophysical assays to support product characterization and process development. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented laboratory scientist with strong analytical skills and experience working in a regulated environment. He/She will be a proactive team player who fosters collaboration, communicates effectively, and contributes positively to a high-performing team culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related scientific discipline.
  • 3 years of laboratory experience in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or related fields.
  • Hands-on experience with LC and CE techniques for at least 2 years, prefer > 3 years.
  • Experience with data analysis and technical documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with method optimization, qualification, and transfer activities.
  • Experience in maintaining accurate laboratory records and documentation.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance and inventory management.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Perform routine analytical testing using LC- and CE-based methods, including sample preparation, instrument operation, data analysis, and documentation.
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, standards, and critical laboratory solutions.
  • Support laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, inventory management, and troubleshooting.
