Job Description
We are seeking an Associate, Supply Chain Management Logistics to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in receiving, distribution, inventory control, transportation, records management, and vendor coordination and a proven ability to support end-to-end material movement while resolving invoice and receipt discrepancies and ensuring safety, security, and productivity standards.
Responsibilities:
- Support accurate receiving, distribution, warehousing, and storage of products across assigned departments.
- Coordinate daily material movement within the Mayo Clinic while upholding safety, security, and productivity standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, allied health professionals, administrators, SCM staff, vendors, and internal and external stakeholders.
- Engage suppliers to expedite orders, manage returns, and resolve invoice and receipt issues.
- Handle high-volume inquiries via phone, mail, and fax and serve as a point of contact for other SCM areas to resolve requests.
- Research and resolve transactions for Invoices Not Received and Received Not Invoiced using multiple information sources.
- Investigate specialty requests, including aged proof-of-delivery items, shipping mode identification, and return management.
- Assist with distribution of medical products and services, including controlled substances and hazardous materials, per policy.
- Use reports to ensure data integrity for special handling, expediting, critical orders, and routine fulfillment.
- Identify trends causing processing delays and collaborate to implement sustainable solutions.
- Comply with applicable policies and governmental regulations and assist with projects as assigned by SCM leadership.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with personal computers and office productivity systems.
- Strong communication, problem solving, continuous improvement, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt in a changing environment.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles related to invoice and receipt reconciliation.
- High School diploma or GED and two years of supply chain or business-related experience. An Associate's degree plus one year of experience will be considered equivalent.
Preferred Skills:
- Healthcare supply chain experience, including handling controlled substances or hazardous materials.
- Experience with vendor coordination, expediting, and returns management.
Licensure/Certification:
A valid driver's license may be required for a subset of duties that involve driving.
