Job Summary
The Asset Management Group of the Corporate Department is seeking an experienced Registered Funds Associate, preferably with 3-6 years of legal experience.
Duties/Responsibilities
As a Registered Funds Attorney, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and guidance to our clients on the full range of matters related to registered investment companies, including mutual funds, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), listed closed-end funds, interval funds, tender offer funds, and business development companies, and their trustees/directors. You will also be responsible for advising investment advisers on all their business and regulatory matters. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Required Skills/Abilities
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 to 6 years of legal experience practicing as a Registered Funds Attorney. A J.D. degree from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction to which you are applying are required.
Candidates must possess strong knowledge of securities laws and regulations, particularly those related to registered investment companies and registered investment advisers. The ability to communicate complex legal concepts effectively to clients and internal stakeholders is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues. Flexibility to work both independently and as part of a global team is important.
Additionally, proficiency in the responsible and ethical use of artificial intelligence technologies will be preferred, including the ability to identify appropriate use cases, protect confidentiality, verify outputs, and apply independent legal judgment.
