The hours for this role are based on Central or Pacific Standard Time. The candidates needs to be willing to work until at 6PM CST. The Associate Account Manager (AAM) will be responsible for expanding the Company's business within pre-assigned geographic territories. This position is accountable to achieve sales goals through the acquisition and development of new customers and to upsell within these new accounts for a minimum of 12 months. The prospect targets are $20K-$40K/year in Revenue or less. Larger opportunities/leads are to be transferred to a Regional Account Manager. Quots for each month and other associated KPI's will be assigned to the AAM by the business and Technical Sales Manager. Objective is to achieve/exceed these expectations and grow our Small Quantity business.
Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sciences, Marketing or Management or Associates degree with 1+ years of experience in environmental
· Minimum of 1 year experience in sales or customer service, or other related field. Manufacturing and industrial market or related industries, preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of RCRA, DOT, DEA regulatory environment
· Similar background/experience within waste management/environmental services
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce.com
· Experience in managing a territory while demonstrating a proven track record of sales success achieving or exceeding aggressive growth targets and sales quotas, preferred
· Self-directed with the ability to work on multiple projects with competing priorities and deadlines
· Demonstrates established relationships or the ability to rapidly establish relationships within the C-level, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and Marketing functions within the retail industry
· Demonstrates established relationships or the ability to rapidly establish relationships within the Environmental Health and Safety, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations and Marketing functions within the manufacturing industry.
