The Lewis Financial Group is a trusted name in insurance, offering personalized service and reliable coverage to individuals and families across the region. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Associate Agent to join our team.
Position Overview:
The Associate Agent will provide direct support to current and potential clients, liaison between customers and companies, commercial and personal lines sales and retention, and internal communication. This role requires a friendly attitude, strong organizational skills, and a willingness to grow in the insurance field.
Responsibilities:
- Client reviews and cross sales
- Customer Service support
- Must be able to meet sales goals
- Maintain and update client records in the system
- Support licensed agents with day-to-day operations
- Learn and adhere to compliance procedures and insurance guidelines
- Work with MS Office programs for communication, reports, and client documents
Requirements:
- Must have current Property and Casualty Insurance License
- Willing to obtain Life Insurance license within 60 days
- Basic computer skills (email, MS Word/Excel)
- Professional phone etiquette and communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Prior experience in marketing, sales or insurance
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Holding a current insurance license
