Associate Analyst – New Accounts Operations

About the Opportunity

A leading financial services organization is seeking a detail-oriented Associate Analyst to join its New Accounts Operations team. This position plays a key role in supporting account onboarding, documentation review, operational processing, and client service functions within a fast-paced corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process new account documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Support account onboarding and maintenance activities
  • Communicate with internal teams, advisors, and clients regarding account status and documentation needs
  • Monitor operational workflows to ensure timely processing of requests
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries related to account setup and servicing
  • Update and maintain client account information within internal systems
  • Partner cross-functionally with Compliance, Operations, and other internal departments
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with company procedures
  • Assist with operational process improvements and workflow efficiencies
  • Support audits, reporting requests, and operational reviews
  • Help train and support new team members as needed

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in financial operations, banking operations, brokerage operations, or account servicing
  • Experience working within high-volume operational or client support environments
  • Familiarity with account opening systems or financial platforms preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team setting

Preferred Experience

  • Experience reviewing documentation and identifying discrepancies
  • Exposure to compliance-driven operational processes
  • Financial services or brokerage industry experience
  • Experience supporting process improvement initiatives
  • Prior mentoring or training experience is a plus
